Cuisine American
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries chopped small
- 4 oz goat cheese log
- 2-3 large basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling
Start by adding your chopped strawberries to a small bowl.
Finely chop the basil leaves into ribbons and add to the bowl of strawberries. Set this bowl aside for at least 20 minutes so the flavors can come together.
15-20 minutes before serving, place the goat cheese on a serving dish to come to room temperature. This will make it easier to spread.
When ready to serve, spoon over the basil and strawberry mixture onto the goat cheese log.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving. Serve with crackers or crostini.
Enjoy!
