This guacamole is a creamy twist on the traditonal favorite. Tangy goat cheese, crunchy jalapeno and fresh lime juice make this the ultimate summer snack.
Start by scooping the ripe avocados into a serving bowl and mash them with a fork. Leave it more chunky or smooth- it’s up to you!
Crumble in the goat cheese to the mashed avocado and combine gently.
Next, finely dice the red onion and the jalapeños. Deseed the peppers for less heat.
Add the red onion and jalapeños to the bowl and along with the lime juice and salt. Stir together well until it is all combined. If you are using cilantro, fold it in at the end just before serving.
Taste for any additional salt and serve with salty tortilla chips or crunchy pita!
Notes
* We personally like to use the whole jalapeno in our guacamole, but if you like it less spicy, deseed the jalapeno before adding it in.
